Hey guys, want to know what pussifed band I'm bumping in my whip today? Cool! I'll tell you! Right now I'm all about this groovy little group called The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart. I know, the name makes me cringe a little too, but GODdamn if they don't deliver some unapologetically melodic pop music, also known as "shoegaze" or "dream pop" or "shoe pop" or "dreamy pop shoes music."
I think the original name of this band was "The Pains Of Having a Nauseously Adorable Chick With Cute Bangs In Our Group", but I believe some band from Norway already took that one. Do me a favor? Enjoy this video for their song "Young Adult Friction", OK? Thanks you guys!
Today I'm listening to a band called "The Lil' Hospital." I'm guessing they fall under the category of "twee pop" or "indie pop" or "music that could potentially get your ass kicked if listened to in certain areas/situations pop" or "pussy music pop."
I think this band is super underground/credible/"good" because they don't have a Wikipedia article on them, so feel free to "name drop" them and mention where you heard of them (the most credible blog around, Perpetual Adolescent Funk) to impress friends and family. In today's post I'm going to share with you a band I am hella feeling right now. Said band is called "Army Navy" and they produce some pretty "rad" guitar driven pop music.
Because this isn't an "mp3 blog", I'm not really sure how long this band has been around or how old they are in "blog years" {via the Hipster Runoffs}, so please excuse me if they are lame/not relevant.
